What Is So Great About Stamps?

The unfortunate postponement of stamp making last week had people asking "what is so great about stamps anyway?"  Well stamps like everything else in the clay world requires a little imagination so I found some inspiration.
Gary Jackson in my view has to be the King of Stamps.  Since it is Empty Bowl time again, here are highlights from a bowl post on his blog

What if you are tired of hearing about bowls you say?  How about stamping mugs?

Tips
Use smooth grogless clay!  Johns, Porcelain, Mount Baker....
Give them handles long enough to hold onto
PUT YOUR MARK OR NAME ON THEM
Bisque fired is good enough 95% of the time
Go crazy

This is all fine but what do these look like glazed?

Remember, go crazy
